In addition to signing up for a station we also need folks to help in the following ways (in case these are of interest to any in your groups):
- Advertising (Fiona Hicks is organizing this, but I’m sure she’d love help)
- people to distribute postcard-sized flyers to friends, coworkers, churches, etc…
- people to put links on their websites (we’re working on a simple webpage and “button” for this)
- people/person to get the word to local media – newspapers (Enquirer, CityBeat, etc..), radio, TV? (this is a new experiement for us and if anybody is interested or skilled in this we’d love to try pursue it)
- Financially
- we need folks/churches who can give to help offset the costs of heating/electric, advertising, and miscellaneous supplies (each station creator will cover the cost of their own station)
- Docent/Curator
- During the week it will be open from 11-11 and we’ll need 2 people in the building at all times to keep it open and hospitable. Juli Thompson is coordinating the sign-up list for that. One person to greet and the other to pray (or they can take turns).
- Set-up/Clean-up
- Station creators will set-up and clean-up their own station, but we’ll need others to help
